About this site
This site exists because of one sum. Compounded GLP-1 vials are labelled in milligrams,
insulin syringes are marked in units, and the conversion between the two is done by a very large
number of people every week — on phone calculators, at 6am, never quite trusting it, and
occasionally wrong by a factor of two. It's easy arithmetic, and it's exactly the kind that
shouldn't have to be redone from scratch every Sunday.
So I built the calculator, then the charts, and then the pages that answer the questions
people kept arriving with. The charts turned out to be the useful part: the thing you'd tape
inside a kitchen cupboard. This site is that printout.
Who makes this
Roman Šterba. I build small, single-purpose websites and tools, and this is one of them. I'm
based in Prague; the site is written for the US, because that's where compounded GLP-1 vials
and insulin-syringe dosing are an everyday reality. I have no medical training, no pharmacy, and
nothing to sell you.
What it is
A conversion tool and a set of reference charts. Nothing is generated on the fly —
every number in the tables is the same arithmetic the calculator does, worked out ahead of
time so you can scan it instead of typing.
What it isn't
- Not medical advice. Your prescriber decides your dose, your schedule, and whether any
of this is right for you at all.
- Not a pharmacy, and not connected to one. Nothing is sold here.
- Not for research chemicals. The calculator does arithmetic and doesn't care what's
in the vial, but this site is written for people filling a prescription — not for the
"not for human use" corner of the internet.
How I handle being wrong
Two things are load-bearing here: the arithmetic and the schedules. The arithmetic is
shown on the front page so you can check it yourself. The schedules come from the
manufacturers' own prescribing information, and where compounded vials differ from the
branded pens I say so rather than smoothing it over.

Money
There is none right now. No ads, no sponsors, no affiliate links on the calculator or the
chart pages. If that ever changes on the pricing pages I'll label it plainly at the top of
the page rather than in a footer nobody reads. The calculator stays clean either way —
a tool that quietly nudges you toward whoever pays it is a broken tool.
What the site collects about you, which is almost nothing: privacy.
